Bittersweet!!

Okay, I'll be honest, I never thought I'd find a cafe I'd like as much at Cafe 1001 in London.  I really didn't.  Cafe 1001 is a literal escape to all of the things I enjoy.  Its walls were covered with poetry.  Its upper floor was chaotically strewn with mismatched sofas and pillows.  At night you drink coffee by candlelight.  Their cheesecake was probably made by angels.  Their DJ spins out joyous melodies that seep into conversations.  It was, and is, a magical place.

I haven't found anything quite as amazing in the states, but I'm not giving up just yet!  In the past couple months, it has become my habit to lounge on the sofa, beside the balcony, at Bittersweet Chocolate Cafe with friends.  Though its walls are not covered with poetry, nor does it have the plush feel of a sofa stocked warehouse, its hot chocolate makes my heart beat faster and the edges of my lips tilt up into an unconscious smile.  The theme is chocolate and I've found that it is best not to deviate to their small list of tea options or non-chocolate filled pastries.  This is not because their tea or snacks are bad, but merely because you'd be missing out on a chocolate Utopia, which would be sad.

Location: Bittersweet Chocolate Cafe, San Francisco, CA, U.S.A.

From the way this Cafe 1001 sounds, I must go to London just to try it :)
